Cartuxa is a Superbrand.

The Cartuxa brand is one of the main assets of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation, a non-profit institution created in 1963 that integrates the face of the city of Évora, a World Heritage.

Its headquarters are located in Páteo de São Miguel, rehabilitated by its founder, Vasco Maria Eugénio de Almeida, who immortalized the name by placing its patrimony and wisdom at the service of society.

Cartuxa is the umbrella brand of the productive area of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation, which included the Cartuxa Winery, the Cartuxa Winery, the Cartuxa Enotourism and the Enoteca Cartuxa.

The insignia Cartuxa translates the identity of wines Vinea Cartuxa, EA, Foral de Évora, Cartuxa, Scala Coeli and the mythical Pêra-Manca. Álamos, EA and Cartuxa oils are also synonymous with quality and uniqueness.

In July 2016, the cultural and wine heritage of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation was joined by the legacy of Alentejo cuisine.
