E-Plus Medical Services provides air and ground ambulance and evacuation services to a wide range of clientele through annual membership subscriptions for individuals and families, estates, malls, corporations and schools throughout Kenya.
Wholly owned by the Kenya Red Cross Society, E-Plus was launched in 2010 with the purchase of five state-of-the-art BLS ambulances equipped to international standards.
E-Plus has since undergone significant expansion, increasing its fleet base of state-of-the-art ambulance from 5 to 128 spread across the country, making it the largest privately owned ambulance service provider in the country.
E-Plus operates a 24-hour emergency medical dispatch centre equipped with an application for fleet management and real-time monitoring of the ambulances, an advanced 3CX phone system, and a client relationship management system to enhance dispatch of emergency services.
E-Plus Membership Benefits include unlimited 24 hour ambulance services; Treatment and stabilization on site; and transfer to the nearest hospital of your choice. Family memberships provide 24 hour emergency rescue services for up to six family members in Kenya.
Evacuations or transfers from one country to another within the Eastern African region are available for stable patients that have been discharged from hospital or those that have terminal illnesses.
In addition to membership subscriptions, services have expanded to standby events coverage, county ambulance services and government ambulance services provision.
E-Plus has also introduced its telemedicine service through eDoc services, together with home-based care services, Medical escort services, and e-Pharmacy services.
