After years of neglect, Egyptian Radio was reborn in 2003 by Nile Radio Productions, with the launch of 100.6 Nogoum FM and 104.2 Nile FM, ushering in a new era.
The privately owned Nogoum and Nile FM took listeners by storm, offering innovative, fast-paced, entertainment/music/talk-show formats. In 2012, NRP launched two music record labels — Nogoum Records for A-list artists and NRP Music for up-and-coming artists. In just three years, both labels have released six albums to international acclaim for superstars like Sherine Abdel-Wahab, Mohamed Hamaki, Ramy Gamal, Hossam Habib and Abu El-Leef.
NRP complemented these labels with the world-class NRP Recording Studios, fortified with one of the world’s best sound mixers — the SSL Duality. NRP Recording Studios also puts itself above the competition with a variety of services including recording, dubbing, mixing, and production services.
