Mauritius to Launch Official Superbrands Programme in Landmark Deal with Brandzeal Consultancy

In a strategic move set to redefine the branding landscape in Mauritius, Mind Initiatives has officially secured the exclusive licence to operate the Superbrands Programme in Mauritius. The agreement was signed on 15th February 2025 between Brandzeal Consultancy Ltd of Bangladesh, the exclusive regional holder of the Superbrands Licence, and Mind Initiatives Ltd, a leading branding and business consultancy in Mauritius.

This exclusive partnership will see the internationally acclaimed Superbrands programme—recognised in over 90 countries—celebrating and showcasing the strongest brands in Mauritius through its prestigious Superbrands Book, Superbrands Council, and special tribute events.

The announcement was made at the 10th anniversary of Brand Magic 2025, Mauritius’ largest annual branding summit, where the news was met with resounding applause from industry leaders, marketers, and CEOs present at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Shariful Islam, Founder and Managing Director of Brandzeal Consultancy and Regional Partner of Superbrands, stated: “Mauritius has long been home to remarkable brands that stand out for their excellence, consistency, and trust. We’re delighted to partner with Mind Initiatives, led by a passionate and visionary team, to spotlight and honour the country’s strongest brands. This partnership will offer global recognition, local pride, and meaningful brand storytelling.”

Ravin Lama, Managing Director of Mind Initiatives Ltd, commented: “This is a proud milestone not just for us, but for the branding ecosystem in Mauritius. Superbrands is more than just a badge of honour—it is a commitment to excellence. Through this platform, we will celebrate brand heroes, elevate brand narratives, and showcase Mauritius to the world.”

The Superbrands Mauritius initiative will begin with the formation of an independent Superbrands Council, composed of respected industry experts who will evaluate and endorse participating brands. The selected brands will be featured in the Superbrands Mauritius Book and recognised at a high-profile event later this year.

The programme promises added value including international exposure, customised brand stories, visibility across media and online platforms, and participation in Superbrands TV.
