Ludlow Coffee Group, the parent company of Coffee Planet, a leading home-grown UAE specialty coffee provider has announced a key change across the Group as part of its strategic growth plans and market opportunities across different channels with the announcement of a new global roasting capability under a new brand, Jigsaw Coffee Company.
Prior to this announcement, the Group ran two business units; Coffee Planet and Coffee Planet Roastery, both under the umbrella of the Coffee Planet brand. As the business has grown and market dynamics have evolved, the time is right for Ludlow Coffee Group to formalise the branding of the two propositions with their own distinct brands that focus on their respective areas of expertise within the Group structure.
Jigsaw Coffee Company, the roasting division builds on a heritage of creating some of the finest specialty coffee with a growing footprint of roasting capability supporting many of the leading food and beverage brands across the globe. The capability and partnerships stretch from the UAE to Saudi Arabia, Europe, Asia and the United States. Jigsaw will build on a track-record of creating coffee products that meet the requirements of international partners who trust them to align with their brand expectations. The Roastery will continue to roast and pack for Coffee Planet’s own brand products as it has done consistently and successfully in the region since 2008. Jigsaw Coffee Company will become renowned for piecing together the perfect solutions for its partners.
Coffee Planet, the coffee solutions business that provides all Coffee Planet branded products from specialty coffees to machines as well as services and support and value added propositions to create the perfect experience for all. It also includes the Specialty Coffee Association accredited educational facility, Campus by Coffee Planet. These products are enjoyed across multiple markets at leading 5-star hotels, airlines, offices, restaurants, and more. They can also be purchased in over 700 Retail outlets and through numerous online channels.
